Took a short break from the Quaama cottage building to meet with a friend and do a lovely cruise on the Gippsland Lakes.
Here is the story in images:
Free camped at Genoa on the way there and then on the return a free-camp about 10m nth of of Lakes Entrance.

Next day was the Gippsland Lakes cruise with Lonsdale Eco Cruise complete with home cooked scones and cream and self serve tea/coffee. Here are the cruise pics featuring some seals & swans:
Then the trip home, overnight at the Burnt Bridge free-camp, a coffee stop at Nowa Nowa, and lunch Eden overlooking Twofold Bay.
Breakfast at a nice off road peaceful picnic area, reading a birthday book from a friend, and a few local nature pics.
Morning tea at Nowa Nowa with art gallery of quite impressive timber work.
Scored a really nice piece of local Mahogany by a local craft-person that will have pride of place in the new cottage.
Lunch was at Eden, overlooking Twofold Bay and Mt Imlay in the background.
Next stop was HOME
